Chicken and Corn Chowder is an Easy Meal to Make in Your Crockpot

Chicken and corn chowder doesn’t have to be difficult to make.  When you use a Crockpot, you can have great tasting chowder without much work.  Chowder can make a perfect meal for the entire family, or you can cook it on the weekend and take it to lunch with you the following week.

You will need:

1 X 10 ounce can of cream of chicken soup, 1 X 10 ounce can of cream of potato soup, and 1 to 2 cups of cooked, diced chicken.  You also need to have 1 15 ounce can of corn, 1 cup of milk, and a cup of chicken broth.  You may also want to add half of a diced bell pepper. Salt and pepper the chowder to taste.

When the chowder is nearly finished, taste and see if you want to add any more salt, pepper, or other spices to the Crockpot.

Steps:

Once you have your ingredients prepared, place all of them except for the milk into your Crockpot.  For this amount of chowder, you will want to have a Crockpot that is at least 4 quarts.

Cook the chowder on low for 4 to 5 hours.  When the chowder is about half an hour away from being ready, add the milk to the Crockpot.

If you are making the meal for a larger family, simply double the ingredients and make sure that you have a larger Crockpot in which to cook.
