How to Make a Decadent Cheesecake for Valentine’s Day

Are you looking to make a romantic and delicious gift for that special someone this Valentine’s Day?  If so, why not consider making a Valentine’s Day cheesecake?  It is a fairly simple thing to do, yet it offers a great sign of love and affection for the lucky recipient.

All you need is a no-bake cheesecake mix, a heart shaped pan, and some red or pink frosting.  If you want the entire cheesecake to be red or pink, simply add a few drops of food coloring to the recipe when making it.  For best results, use a springform heart shaped pan or line the pan with foil and cover it with non-stick spray.

Once you have all of your items, simply make the cheesecake according to the directions on the box.  Bake it in the heart shaped pan, and when it has completely set, pop the cheesecake out of the springform pan or gently pull it out of the pan and onto a serving tray.  When this is done, spread your colored frosting onto the cheesecake to give it a romantic theme. 

If you want, you can even use icing tubes to write a special message on the top.  A heart shaped cookie cutter can allow you to make designs on the top, or heart shaped candies can provide a unique design around the outer edge.

With a few basic ingredients and a bit of creativity, you can easily create the perfect Valentine’s Day cheesecake to show how much you care.
