Learn How to Make Easy Country Biscuits for Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Are you looking for something a bit different from your standard Thanksgiving rolls?  If so, then you might certainly consider making country biscuits.  If you are worried that this will be too difficult, an easy recipe can help you make biscuits for your Thanksgiving dinner with little time, effort or fuss.

For this Thanksgiving biscuit recipe, you will need two and one-quarter cups of original Bisquick mix, two-thirds cup of milk, one-third cup of butter and one-quarter teaspoon of baking soda.  Preheat your oven to four hundred and fifty degrees.  The first step in this Thanksgiving biscuit recipe is to add the baking soda to the Bisquick.  Now, cut in the butter and add the milk to the mixture.

Once you have added these ingredients, you will need to stir (or mix) until you get a nice, soft dough.  Sprinkle flour or Bisquick on a clean flat surface and turn the dough out onto it.  Knead your Thanksgiving biscuit dough about ten times now.  Using a rolling pin (or other tool), roll your dough out to about a half inch in thickness.  Using a three-inch cutter, cut out as many biscuits as you can.

Place your uncooked Thanksgiving biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake them in the oven for about eight to ten minutes.  Remove them when they are golden brown and serve warm.  You have now added real country biscuits to your Thanksgiving Day menu!  As you can see, it’s a very simple process and the results can be delicious.
