The Most Popular Chinese Restaurants in the U.S.

Chinese restaurants are some of the best places to go when you want something inexpensive and delicious for lunch.  There are plenty of Chinese chains available that offer food that’s fast, but doesn’t taste like fast food.  Some of the most popular chains in the U.S. specialize in Chinese-American food, which is different from Chinese food, but is still one of the most loved types of cuisine in the U.S.

P.F. Chang’s

P.F. Chang’s is one of the most popular of Chinese food chains.  This is among the Chinese restaurants that serve the classics that everyone is familiar with.  They’re located throughout the nation and are commonly seen in strip malls and free-standing establishments.  They’re pricey for a sit-down restaurant, but have good portions and healthy options.

Panda Express

Panda Express is another popular take-away chain, and is much cheaper.  The food is similar to what you’d find at most sit-down Chinese restaurants, and the restaurant tends toward a cafeteria vibe.  This restaurant boasts good prices, quality ingredients, and many different dishes to choose from.

Pick Up Stix

Pick Up Stix is primarily seen in the Western U.S., and is also a popular option for those who love a fast Chinese meal.  Like most other chains, they serve famous dishes, such as Sweet and Sour Pork, Chop Suey, Chow Main and Mongolian Beef.  Their Cream Cheese Wontons are a favorite for most customers.

Most Chinese restaurants, at least the chains, are very inexpensive and give you a lot of food for the money you dish out.  Some of them deliver, though this is more common with independent Chinese restaurants.  One of the advantages of these chains is the fact that their food is consistent from restaurant to restaurant, so you don’t have to worry about something being too exotic for your liking.
