Fake, acrylic nails were traded in for hot, sexy nail polish. Everything from neutrals to neons were seen on the red carpet.
Another trend was the boyfriend watch; over-sized gold and silver watches made by designers such as Michael Kors and Guess. They were sleek, sometimes black, and even dazzled with diamonds!
Speaking of boyfriends, boyfriend jeans were worn by celebs like Halle Berry. The baggy, worn-in look were comfortable, casual, and great to wear while shopping amid paparazzi.
Nude stilettos were another fashion-must, seen on celebs like Khloe Kardashian in a sleek mini, or on Kelly Ripa while on her talk show. Flats were a no-no, just ask Victoria Beckham – she even got blisters from all the stilettos she wore!
Stilettos, over-sized watches, and nude stilettos were all hot, but how about the sexy lipstick seen at all the movie premiers? Hollywood was seen wearing bright and dramatic reds and pinks while out promoting new albums or for a night out on the town. Hot, bright lipstick was worn with casual attire, or with a sleek dress for a night at the Emmy Awards.
2010 Hollywood trends were so strong this year, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they carried over into 2011.
