How to Find Your Dream Wedding Chapel

It’s not particularly hard to find a local wedding chapel, especially if you’re in Las Vegas.  However, finding the wedding chapel of your dreams can be a bit more taxing.  Even after finding the chapel you want, cost, location and availability might come into play.

Indoor or Outdoor?

Some wedding chapels have beautiful grounds that can also be used to conduct the ceremony.  If you like to have all, or part, of the ceremony done outside, see if you have this option at any of the wedding chapels that you’re considering.  You also need to consider what the weather will be.  If you’re getting married in November, it’s a risk to have an outdoor wedding when you could get rained on.

Ceremonial Issues

Make sure that the wedding chapel you’re considering offers the exact type of ceremony you want.  For example, some of them have various types of religious and civil officials on hand who can conduct multiple types of wedding ceremonies.

Themed Chapels

Some chapels have a particular theme.  If you’re in Las Vegas, everybody knows that you have the option of being married by an Elvis impersonator.  If you want a wedding that’s quirky or non-traditional, this is a great way to go.

Cost

Nobody thinks of racking up extra debt when they dream of their wedding as a child.  When you’re looking at different wedding chapels, make sure that they offer the ceremony for a price that you can actually afford.  If you’re struggling with how you’re going to pay for it, look for a similar chapel that has less features.  There are a large number of chapels available in just about any location, and you shouldn’t feel like you have to pay too much for the ceremony you’ve always wanted.

On a practical note, make sure that the chapel is large enough to accommodate your wedding party.  In some cases, the chapels themselves can be quite small and you may find that people have to stand shoulder-to-shoulder to witness the event.
