The Best Hanukkah Games for Kids

Hanukkah is a time for family, a time for togetherness and a time for celebration.  However, having the right games for your children will help them enjoy Hanukkah even more this year.

One of the most traditional games for Hanukkah is the dreidel game.  However, instead of using pennies, use chocolate gelt coins instead.  You will find these coins available from a number of candy stores, and they can certainly be a tasty way to get your kids into the spirit of the holiday.

Of course, you can also use the menorah to make a fun Hanukkah game for your children.  This game is played a lot like pin the tail on the donkey, but you will pin the candle on the menorah, instead.

Hanukkah jigsaw puzzles can be lots of fun for your kids, too.  You’ll find these puzzles available in many stores, and they feature traditional imagery, such as the menorah or the Star of David.  You can add a bit of spice to putting together Hanukkah puzzles by giving a prize to the first child that correctly assembles their puzzle.

Finally, you can play Hanukkah trivia.  Test your children’s knowledge of the holiday and make this learning experience a lot of fun for all ages.  Give the winner a small prize from the toy store, and you’ll find that your kids love to play this enjoyable game.

These are only a few examples of the many Hanukkah games for your children.  With a bit of creativity, you can come up with many of your own games.
