How to Make a Stunning Fall Floral Thanksgiving Centerpiece

If you are struggling with creating the right Thanksgiving centerpiece for your holiday, then take some inspiration from the season.  You can make a great fall floral centerpiece, using little more than some silk leaves, a glass hurricane and some ingenuity.  How do you make this type of Thanksgiving centerpiece?  The first step is to head to the craft store.

At the craft store, you will need to buy some supplies for your Thanksgiving centerpiece.  You need a glass hurricane, a candle for the hurricane, a quarter sheet of Styrofoam, some Spanish moss, floral pins, small mixed mum bushes, a larger mum bush and some fall foliage.  You might also choose to include some jeweled pine cones in your centerpiece if you like.

Now, attach the Styrofoam and hurricane using glue.  Place the Spanish moss over the foam and secure it with floral pins.  Your Thanksgiving centerpiece is beginning to take shape!

Now, cut your small mum bushes apart and insert them into the foam – glue them in place.  Cut your other sprays and floral picks apart and insert them into the foam, securing them with glue.

Finally, you need to arrange your Thanksgiving centerpiece on your table and make sure that everything is in place.  If you have some jeweled pine cones, these can be nestled in the foliage for a great effect, or you can attach them to the foam with glue if you prefer.

With these simple, easy steps, your Thanksgiving centerpiece should be beautiful and eye-catching, as well as being relatively durable – you might be able to use it again next year!
