Review: Does the Fushigi Ball Really Defy the Laws of Physics?

Is the hype around the Fushigi Ball all an illusion, or does the product really work?  The Fushigi Ball is a “magic gravity ball” that the makers specifically state is an illusion.  However many people who bought the ball without fully reading or understanding what it was that they were buying were disappointed that they weren’t really able to defy the laws of gravity when they used the Fushigi Ball.

Those who bought the ball knowing that it was simply an illusion are, for the most part, happy with the product.  However, it is fragile and can break easily if you drop it.  The ball also wobbles in mid-air, which might cause the illusions that you try with the Fushigi Ball to fail.

Even though the makers say that the Fushigi Ball is a great item for children, learning to use the ball properly takes practice.  Many customers who bought the ball from toy stores expecting it to be easy to use, claim that the learning curve is too high.  If you want to teach your children about magic tricks and illusions, then you might be better of buying a magic kit appropriate for their age.

The cost is minimal, as long as you take the time to learn the tricks.  Of course, a number of reviewers who bought the Fushigi Ball say that you can accomplish the same thing with just about any ordinary ball on the market if you find out how to do the magic trick by yourself.
