Then you can finish with a nice stay at a cozy bed and breakfast, with a bottle of red wine and a nice dinner out at a steak restaurant or local carvery.
If you have the budget, a cruise is a great gift, or you might consider renting an RV for an extended road trip. He will remember this trip for the rest of his life, which is more than you can say for a necktie! Just consider his personal interests, and you can’t go far wrong.
