Review: Pajama Jeans Cool or Not Cool?

Pajama Jeans are touted as a hybrid clothing item, featuring the comfort of pajamas, with the durability of blue jeans.  However, are they comfortable and can you really wear them both out of the street and in the bedroom?

First, Pajama Jeans really do look like real jeans, unlike many similar products that are really nothing more than fancy leggings or sweatpants.  This is definitely a mark in their favor.  Pajama Jeans are very dark when you first buy them, and many people who reviewed them online suggest washing them before wearing them to avoid your bedsheets getting dyed from the coloring.

Most consumers who have purchased Pajama Jeans find that they are extremely comfortable. However, those looking for lightweight material might be a little put off by this product. The material is a bit heavier than what is usual for pajamas, but that is of necessity – they wouldn’t hold up to closer inspection if they were super thin.

Some customers have been unhappy with the fact that Pajama Jeans are only available in dark blue at clothing stores, rather than in a lighter denim color. However, because Pajama Jeans fade quite a lot during washings, it should take only a little while for the dark blue to become something closer to what you want if this is the case with you.  You can easily custom wash them yourself to fade them.

Some customers have also noted that repeated washings create loose threads around the seams on Pajama Jeans. These can easily be trimmed with a pair of scissors, though, and do not compromise the quality of the product.

In the long run, it seems like Pajama Jeans are definitely a good purchase for both comfort and fashion so long as you bear these few things in mind.
