Which Are the Top Cable Television Providers in the US?

It’s no secret that cable television can be quite expensive, so it’s a good idea to shop around before deciding on a specific provider. Here are some of the best in the U.S.

With the most subscribers in the country, Comcast is the most popular provider in the US.  Founded in 1963, Comcast has been the leader in cable television for many years.

Direct TV is the leading satellite television provider, streaming cable TV to millions of American households.

Dish Network is another cable provider that serves millions of Americans, making it one of the most popular in the country today.  Both Direct TV and Dish Network are satellite providers, which might not appeal to all consumers.

Another top cable service in the US is Time Warner Cable.  Operating in 27 states, it provides service to more than 10 million American households. Cox Communications rounds out the top 5 with around 5 million American subscribers.

The other three top cable television providers in the US are Verizon Communications, AT&T, Inc, Charter Communications, and Cablevision Systems Corporation.

Since not all providers service all areas, finding a perfect match can take some time, but you can save money on your cable television with the right provider.
