You Can Make Gourmet Sesame Seed Rolls for Thanksgiving This Year

Are you looking for a way to add a bit of something different to your Thanksgiving menu this year?  If so, then you can transform your dinner rolls from ordinary to extraordinary with just a simple, easy recipe.  How do might you make your Thanksgiving dinner rolls a bit better than usual?  The answer is to roll them in sesame seeds.

 

To begin making these Thanksgiving treats, you’ll need to first choose the type of dinner rolls that you want.  Almost anything will work – frozen or refrigerated rolls are perfectly suited to this.  In addition to your package of Thanksgiving dinner rolls, you will also need some melted butter and some sesame seeds.

 

Follow the preparation directions on the dinner roll package.  Place your sesame seeds on a flat plate or another pan.  Preheat your oven and use the cooking directions on your dinner rolls; however, just before they are done, remove them from the oven.  Using a basting brush or a pastry brush, apply melted butter to the tops of the rolls.  Now, place a roll top down in your sesame seeds and rock back and forth so that the top is coated with sesame seeds.  Replace the Thanksgiving roll on the pan and repeat for all of your rolls.

 

Once your rolls are coated with seeds, replace them in the oven for another minute or so.  The goal is to finish cooking them and lightly toast the sesame seeds without burning the rolls.  When done, remove them from the oven and serve hot.  Your Thanksgiving rolls will be a huge hit!
