Review: Can the Big Boss Blender Replace All Your Kitchen Gadgets?

We’ve all seen the commercials on television of the latest greatest gizmo that blends, whips, chops, and does the household chores.  One of the most popular items currently on the infomercial circuit is the Big Boss Blender.  This blender is retailing at most electronics stores and is supposed to be the “be all and end all” of devices for your kitchen.

It has just one blade, but a 300 watt motor that gives it enough power to do what you need, whether you are chopping up hard cheeses, blending a smoothie after a workout, or pureeing baby food.  But is it’s performance as good as the Big Boss Blender marketing campaign would have you believe?

Most of the people who use the blender love how it works, and claim that it can chop nuts just as easily as it can make a milkshake.  Many are using the Big Boss Blender to take the place of other appliances in their kitchen.  The price is quite low too, which is one of the reasons for its current popularity.

Another reason that the product has garnered favorable reviews is it’s versatility.  You will be able to do a number of things with the Big Boss Blender that would take you much longer on your own with a chopping knife or with a lower powered blender.

One of the main complaints is that it can be difficult to clean.  It’s a good idea to rinse out the Big Boss Blender as soon as you are done using it, so that the food on the inside doesn’t get a chance to dry and stick to the blender.
