Review: is the AB Rocket a Good Exercise Option?

If you want to lose weight, build muscle, feel healthier and be more self-confident, exercise is vital.  The AB Rocket promises to help you do all of those things.  Available online as well as in many prominent fitness stores, the Ab Rocket is the latest ‘all-in-one’ ab exerciser.

However, how does the AB Rocket stand up to use in a real home?  What do other consumers say about this product?

First, the AB Rocket does get good reviews, but it gets an equal number of poor reviews from users, as well.  Part of the problem seems to be that the back of the AB Rocket is not designed to fit every body type – which is an impossibility.

Another problem seems to be that the AB Rocket is not designed for hardcore workouts – those with strong abdominal and back muscles will see little (if any) benefit from this product.

However, for those with weak abdominal and back muscles, the AB Rocket seems to live up to its reputation.  It is not particularly sturdy, but the lightweight construction does mean that it is more portable than would be possible otherwise.

Some consumers have reported that the back rollers wear out quickly or that they are too soft.  However, the most common complaint is simply that it doesn’t do enough for those with strong core muscles.

Basically, if you are in good shape, then the AB Rocket is probably not the right device for your needs.  However, if you have weak abdominal muscles, or have pain doing unassisted sit-ups or crunches, the AB Rocket might just be an excellent tool to add to your fitness routine.
