How to Make the Perfect Breakfast Frittata

Cooking a breakfast that is delicious and hearty doesn’t have to be challenging.  If you are tired of cereal and oatmeal or the same old eggs, or don’t want to pay to eat at a breakfast cafe, you may wish to consider making a breakfast frittata.  You can easily make this perfect breakfast frittata with spinach and potatoes.  With simple prep and a fast cook time, this recipe can be done in about 30 minutes.

You will need:

For this recipe, you will need two tablespoons of olive oil, six sliced red potatoes, a cup of torn fresh spinach, a teaspoon of crushed garlic, two tablespoons of sliced green onions, six eggs, a third of a cup of milk, half a cup of shredded cheddar and salt and pepper to taste.

Steps:

With your ingredients gathered, start by heating your olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.  Once the pan is heated, start your breakfast frittata by putting your potatoes in the covered skillet for about 10 minutes, or until they are just starting to become tender.

Now, add in the spinach, onions, and garlic and then salt and pepper to taste.  Cook this mixture for about two minutes or until the spinach starts to wilt.

Now, in a medium sized bowl, beat your milk and eggs together.  Pour the breakfast frittata egg mixture into the skillet over your vegetables and sprinkle the cheese on top.  Reduce your heat to the low setting, place the cover back on, and cook the breakfast frittata for about six minutes, or until your eggs are firm.

When this is complete, your breakfast frittata is ready to be enjoyed!
