You will need:

1 pound of chicken. You can take chicken breasts and cut them into smaller pieces so that everything will fit easily into the Crockpot.  You also need to have 3 cans of 15 ounce chicken broth, 2 cups of water, 3 carrots sliced, 3 stalks of celery sliced, half an onion, ½ a cup of fresh or frozen peas, and ½ a pound of your favorite pasta.  You can add salt, pepper, and other spices to taste.

Steps:

Cook the chicken in a skillet, and then add it to the Crockpot. Next, add all of the other ingredients except for the pasta.

Cook the meal in the Crockpot on low for about 5 to 7 hours.

When the soup is about half an hour from being finished, you can cook the pasta by boiling it and then adding it to the Crockpot.  Stir, and let it warm in the Crockpot for an additional 15 to 30 minutes.

Cooking chicken and pasta soup in a Crockpot is a simple way to have a delicious and hearty home cooked meal.
