5 Breakfast Recipes You Can Make in a Hurry

Mornings can be chaotic when you’re a busy stay at home mom or a working woman on the go.  These breakfast recipes are easy to make when you’re in a hurry and you’re hungry!

One of our favorite smoothie recipes is for a peanut butter smoothie. Smoothie breakfast recipes are great for breakfast in a hurry because you can drink them while you drive to work or chauffeur the kids to school.  Blend a cup of ice cubes (they fluff up your smoothie recipes), a cup of milk, a cored apple, and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.

If pancakes are your passion, mix up a batch of your favorite pancake recipes on the weekend and pop them into the toaster to reheat when needed.  Add whatever filling you like inside: 1/2 cup scrambled egg with sausage or bacon, or 1/2 cup cottage cheese and fruit.  Roll them up, and eat them like a burrito.

Speaking of burritos, easy recipes for them begin with heating up your tortilla and ingredients and rolling them up to eat on the run, too.  You can make fruit burritos with 1/2 cottage cheese flavored with a teaspoon of honey, and add 1/4 cup chopped fruit of your choice.  Recipes for burritos are only limited by your imagination.

If those Canadian bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches are your craving, we have recipes for those, as well.  Toast your bagel or English muffin in the oven with the cheese on one side and the bacon on the other, cook the egg, and assemble.

Recipes for breakfast pizza are winners, too.  Take frozen pizza crust, throw 1/4 cup each of your favorite veggies on top, chopped, with 4 slices bacon, cut, add mozzarella and 6 tablespoons tomato sauce, and heat until cooked to your liking.

With foresight, breakfast can be quick and easy with these versatile recipes.
