A Turkey Breast for 2 Is Simple and Easy for Your Thanksgiving

Finding a way for just two people to celebrate Thanksgiving can be  a task in itself.  However, with the right recipe, it can actually be pretty easy.  You can roast a turkey breast to perfection and enjoy it as your main course for Thanksgiving if you will not be joining anyone else for the holiday.  Here’s how to do it:

To roast a turkey breast for two people as a Thanksgiving meal, it’s best to combine your breast with some other options.  For this recipe, you will need a turkey breast, as well as two whole potatoes, two stalks of celery and a large chopped onion.

Place the turkey breast (thawed) in a baking pan.  The chopped potatoes and sliced-up celery should go on the sides of the breast, and you can sprinkle the diced onion on top.  Use poultry seasoning, or another preferred seasoning on the turkey breast (and the veggies) to add some flavor.  Put all of this in an oven preheated to three hundred and twenty-five degrees after covering the pan with aluminum foil. (Make sure the pan handle is not plastic before trying this one!) Cook your Thanksgiving turkey breast by the directions according to weight.

While baking your Thanksgiving meal, you will find that your breast makes drippings in the pan.  Use this to baste your breast for a nice dark skin.  You will probably need to add some salt and pepper to the breast when it’s done, as well.  This is a great, simple recipe for two people to enjoy a Thanksgiving turkey breast without having to cook an entire bird.
