Making Leaf Napkin Rings to Decorate Your Table This Thanksgiving

If you are looking for a great way to add some elegance and whimsy to your Thanksgiving table, then leaf napkin rings can be a great option.  These decorations can give you a great seasonal look, and work very well.  They can also be fun to make for the entire family.  Here’s how to get started:

You will need to get some supplies together first to make your Thanksgiving napkin rings.  You will need wire cutters, brown craft foam, artificial fall leaves (from the craft store), and a hot glue gun with a couple of glue sticks.  To get started, you need to cut several pieces of foam out – each one should be about one and a half inches by six and a half inches.  Cut one piece for each napkin you will need for Thanksgiving.

Next, bend the foam into a circle, so that the long ends touch each other, and glue them together to form a ring.  Allow these to cool.  Now, using your wire cutters, cut one leaf off the bunch that you purchased from the store – cut one leaf per napkin.  Again, using your glue gun, attach one leaf to each band of brown foam.  You have now made your Thanksgiving napkin rings!

You can add additional Thanksgiving beauty by adding small fake berries to the leaves, or by using different colors of foam to make the napkin ring.  Regardless, you now have a Thanksgiving craft that was fun and very affordable to make.
