The Best Crawfish Restaurant Options in New Orleans

If you are taking a trip to the Big Easy, AKA New Orleans, it’s an unwritten rule that you have to try the crawfish.  It is a specialty in the Creole city, and there is nowhere better in the world to find great crawfish.  Here are a few New Orleans seafood restaurants that have incredible crawfish entrees on their menus.

One great option is Deanie’s in the French Quarter.  While you are walking down Bourbon Street and enjoying all that the city has to offer, stop into this restaurant.  They have a crawfish boil that is absolutely amazing.

Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar in the Warehouse District is another good choice if you happen to be in the city on a Sunday.  The boil starts at 4 pm and lasts till all the crawfish is gone, but if you happen to be in the area, the sooner you stop in, the better.

If you want to know where most of the locals go for great crawfish, head on over to the Uptown district and check out Franky and Johnny’s.  This restaurant has won numerous awards for their boiled crawfish, and they also offer a fantastic oldies atmosphere and a menu packed with nostalgic food.

Last, consider Yo Mama’s Bar and Grill.  Located just off of Bourbon Street, this great restaurant offers crawfish on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays when they are in season.  For for those seeking a great drink, there are also more than sixty varieties of tequila on order.
