Although she has taken a stab at a music career, Paris Hilton has contributed little to the hotel, fashion or music industries to account for her fame.
Her former best friend, Nicole Ritchie, is another celebrity with little reason for her fame. This daughter of Lionel Ritchie seems to only be famous for being on a reality show with Hilton, ‘The Simple Life.’
Adding to the long list of reality star celebrities are the women from the show ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ Known for their bickering and on-screen antics, these women have done little else to achieve their celebrity status. Being famous isn’t always about talent, as is proven by these reality stars.
Amber Rose, famous for being the former girlfriend of music industry king Kanye West, is a well-known celebrity. This former stripper is famous for nothing more than dating Kanye, yet is seen as a fashion icon today.
How does one go from being unknown to known throughout the world? It certainly pays to know the right people and the public’s curiosity can keep celebrity status flowing and the gossip magazine mills churning for even the most unlikely candidates.
