How to Become a Celebrity Step One Work On Your Image

If you want to move ahead in the world of entertainment, you must first shift your image from simply being popular (which you are, of course) to actually being famous (which you hope to be soon). However, this may not be as challenging as you believe. For example, have you ever heard the saying, “dress the part?” There is much truth to this saying and, in part of becoming a celebrity, you must start by creating a stellar celebrity image for yourself. The right image can make even Joe Schmoe worth of a second look, whether he be in a supermarket or stepping out of a limo. So, how exactly do you create a celebrity image?

You must first examine and adjust three major areas of your life: the way you dress, the way you act, and the way you carry yourself (confidence). Take a moment to consider each, and make a list of the alterations you need to make in your journey to obtaining the perfect celebrity image. This is crucial when attempting to obtain the celebrity status quo. If you don’t dress like a celeb or a rock star, you’ll never attract the right people, opportunities and circumstances needed to make you into a real star.

Dressing like a celebrity is the most important part in the process. Your celebrity image is dependent on how you dress, not only when you’re among people in the industry, but whenever you’re mingling the public in general. In you want to be a prima-Donna celeb then you must always dress to impress: your hair must always be groomed, your attire must always draw the utmost attention, and you should ultimately carry the personality of a celebrity. If you want to be a big rockstar, it’s not only acceptable but encouraged to look a mess, but the sunglasses hiding the bags under your eyes must be Prada, your multi-holed jeans must be custom-made by Forgotten Saints on Melrose, CA, and your jacket must be a Junker original, dahling. Try to get by in fake Armani and you’ll instantly lose all credibility to those ‘in the know.’

How you act is just as important, if not more important, than how you dress. Conveying the celebrity image means that you act like a celebrity in every aspect possible. Learning as much as possible about the entertainment industry and lifestyle can greatly advance the celebrity image you’ve been hoping for.

Finally, how you carry yourself, otherwise known as confidence, plays an extremely important role when creating your celebrity image. There is much truth to the phrase, “act like a celebrity and people will regard you as one.” So what if you’re just a celebrity in your own home town? Those paparazzi snapping couples at yet another art gallery opening party in Hollywood don’t have to know that – and nor will the magazines who unwittingly publish your picture. It also helps to pay a photographer friend a few bucks to run up to you in great excitement at each event you attend and start taking your picture – the ‘big wigs’ of the paparazzi will usually join in out of habit and you may start a photographer feeding frenzy, particular if you act as though you are embarrassed by all the attention – which is how a true star would act. Only B-rated stars willingly pose for the press. The age-old adage ‘fake it till you make it’ will get you a long way.

With these simple steps, you can create a stellar celebrity image for yourself, which is the first step in breaking into the entertainment industry and creating a name for yourself.
