Ask him a month or so in advance and he’ll probably forget you even asked him by Christmas (ladies – you know it’s true!). If you can’t bear to be as obvious as that, ask his best friend or a close family member such as his brother. They can probably be bribed to ask him what he wants for Christmas on your behalf.

Remember, it may be the thought that counts, but men are practical creatures and want something they can use… so if you are truly stumped, a gift card to his favorite store can’t go wrong. Most men love electronics the way most women love flowers, so a gift card to your local Best Buy, Frys or RadioShack may bring a smile to his face on Christmas morning.
