What You Can Clean With Rubbing Alcohol

Most of us know that rubbing alcohol is a pretty fantastic product.  It can be great on cuts and burns or for cleaning wounds.  Did you know that it has many uses outside of medicine, however?  Let’s look at some of the many ways that you can clean with rubbing alcohol.

For starters, rubbing alcohol is great when you need to clean clogged print heads.  This is especially true for older printers or those that frequently apply uneven amounts of ink.  The same is true for the tape heads in your old VCR.

Of course, rubbing alcohol is equally beneficial in modern technology as well, as you can clean the LCD screen in your notebook computer with the substance.  Whether you want to get rid of smoke residue or old fingerprints, just mix two parts alcohol, 1 part distilled water, and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and your computer screen will be as good as new.

Rubbing alcohol is also great for cleaning when someone is sick.  You can use it to disinfect anything, from toys and doorknobs to phones and even the bathroom and kitchen.  Simply clean thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel and the germs and bacteria won’t stand a chance.

Alcohol can also get grease out of your carpet and can even clean windows when mixed with baking soda and vinegar.

The easier question is whether or not there is anything that rubbing alcohol can’t clean.  This is truly a wonder product, and for something that is often less than a dollar a bottle, that’s a fantastic deal!
