Suggestions on How to Shop Smart For Your First PDA

You’re always on the move, and if you’re a busy person I’m sure you could use some help. Even if you can’t afford a personal assistant, you can probably afford a Personal Digital Assistant, or as you might have heard it called, a PDA.

If you’re going PDA shopping, be smart.  Before you go PDA shopping, do your research and write down a list of things you’ll be using it for. PDAs are useful for planning your day, sending text messages and making calls, accessing the internet, listening to music, and more. But don’t go to the store just yet! Do some of your PDA shopping on the internet. Look at reviews and ratings and decide which PDA would be most useful for you. This will make PDA shopping in person much easier.

When you’re ready to go PDA shopping at the store, make sure you pick up and try out all of the demo models they have for sale. You’ll never know if you like it until you try it. Check out models that function as cell phones and as PDAs so that you don’t have to carry two different things.

Other things to consider when PDA shopping are device memory and expansion. Choose a device with enough memory to suit your needs, and pick one that you can add new software to.

Before checkout, think about an insurance plan and a case. An insurance plan will be a little extra money each month, but it’s a lot less expensive than buying a new device if yours breaks. Buying a case will protect your new friend from bumps and cracks if you drop it.
