The Best Celebrity Owned Nightclub Spots in NYC

If you’re in New York and feeling lucky, then it’s about time you hit the best celebrity own nightclub spots!  Interestingly, there are more celebrity owned-bars and nightclub establishments in New York than there are in Los Angeles.

Chrystie Street

Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and Josh Luca are owners of ‘The Box Nightclub’ on Chrystie Street in Manhattan.  It’s often described as a modern day ‘Studio 54’ with few rules.  It’s pricey and difficult to get in, but what do you expect of a nightclub so seedy that it’s literally named The Box?

5th Street

‘The Luahn Nightclub’ is another celebrity-owned hotspot, this one owned by two of the Baldwin brothers, Stephen and Billy.  It’s located on 5th Street and has high class parties, celebrity visitors, two cocktail bars and a dance floor.  There is also a private upstairs lounge area if you want to retreat from the pulsating nightclub atmosphere.

Lafayette Street

Singer Andrew W.K. owns ‘Santo’s Party House’ on Lafayette Street and it plays up the music and dance nightclub atmosphere.  It has a stage area, floor lighting and a very welcoming dance floor.  It also has a cocktail lounge and numerous party events, featuring musical guests, a variety of DJs and song mixes, and nights dedicated to 18 and up and 21 and up.

West 24th Street

If you still haven’t had your fill of celebrity nightclub life, then check out ‘The Cutting Room’ on West 24th, owned by Chris Noth and Steve Walter. ‘National Underground,’ owned by Gavin DeGraw, is also worth a visit – it’s located on E. Houston Street.

West 25th Street

Last but not least, order some hardcore drinks courtesy of the ’40/40′ Nightclub, owned by Jay-Z.  This club is found on West 25th Street.

There are many nightclub establishments in NYC to choose from, all owned by the celebrities you love!
