How to Prepare and Paint Your Basement Floor

Epoxy based paints work well, and you can add silica to create a nonskid basement floor. You can also choose paint with a high gloss finish. These floors will be much easier to clean, and are waterproof too.

Add several coats to make sure the paint lasts a long time if your basement is a high traffic area. The most post popular colors are gray and dark green, as these colors don;t show the dirt so much.
