Are You Making Yourself Look Older?

Like many women, you likely have a desire to look younger than your actual age.  While for some people this is out of a sense of vanity or self esteem, for others it is simply about good health.  Whatever your reason, you want your appearance to look healthy and youthful.  What you might not know is that there are beauty mistakes that many women make that can greatly increase the appearance of age.

For starters, you may want to consider your diet.  Are you eating a lot of fast food or processed food?  These things can certainly have an impact on your appearance.  A diet high in fruits and veggies, especially antioxidants, can help keep you looking much younger than your real age.

Another thing to consider is the skin products you use.  Look at the label on every product that you put on your face.  If it is packed with chemicals, dyes, and alcohols,  you can rest assured that it is not a great choice.   You absorb everything you put on your skin, and if you are packing your face with chemicals, your appearance will certainly show it.

The last mistake we make in terms of appearance is using too little sun protection.  Ultraviolet rays create free radicals that can severely age and damage the skin.  By using sunblock and avoiding direct exposure during peak hours, you can do much to improve the appearance of your skin.

These three mistakes can make you appear years older, and eliminating them can have a major impact.
