Puff pastry shells and sheets can be bought cheaply from any grocery store or bakery. Have fun and see which recipe you like the best.

Crabmeat Strudel

For this Thanksgiving recipe, you will need two puff pastry sheets, as well as an egg, crab meat, lemon juice, cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions and Dijon mustard.  Mix crab and lemon juice together, and other ingredients in a separate bowl.  Fold in the crab, then spread it over your puff pastry sheets.  Cut horizontal strips into the mixture and then bake for about thirty minutes at three hundred and seventy-five degrees.

Touchdown Twists

For this Thanksgiving appetizer, you will need puff pastry sheets, as well as cheddar cheese, melted butter, black pepper and Parmesan cheese.  Heat your oven to four hundred degrees.  Roll your puff pastry sheet into a rectangle of about fourteen by ten inches.  Top this with your cheeses and a bit of pepper.  Put the other sheet over the top (folded correctly).  Cut twenty-eight strips and twist each, then bake for about ten minutes or so.

Puff Pastry Cream Cheese

This is a very easy Thanksgiving recipe.  You simply need to unfold a puff pastry sheet and cover it with cream cheese.  Roll the sheet up and cut into even pieces.  Place these in the oven and cook according to puff pastry package directions.  This gives you a nice, light Thanksgiving appetizer.
