Are you interested in preparing a traditional corned brisket that the entire family will enjoy this Hanukkah, but hoping for a recipe that is easy enough for even a novice cook to follow?  Here is a simple corned brisket recipe that will get the entire family’s mouths watering.

You will need:

3 pound brisket
2 sliced oranges
2 sliced onions
4 halved celery sticks
2 quartered garlic cloves
2 bay leaves
2 teaspoons dill seed
1 teaspoon rosemary
12 cloves
6 sticks cinnamon

To make this corned brisket, start by preheating your oven to 325 degrees.  Next,  arrange half of your seasonings on a large sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil.  Place your meat on top of the seasonings and sprinkle the other half of the seasoning on top of the meat.

Now gather the foil together and pinch it closed, sealing all of the gaps in order to hold in moisture.  Put the closed foil package into a shallow pan and bake for about three hours forty five minutes.  Check the corned brisket for doneness and remove from oven.

Corned brisket is one of the most delicious Hanukkah meals.  If you are ready to start your own Hanukkah traditions, this corned brisket recipe should help you get off to a great start, offering a meal the whole family will love.
