Learning How to Make an Apple Pie for Your Thanksgiving Is Easy

When the holidays roll around, one of the first things that comes to mind for most of us is apple pie.  This is one of the traditional desserts to serve at Thanksgiving, alongside pumpkin pie and a few others.  If you are looking for an easy recipe for Thanksgiving apple pie, you’ll find it below.

First, it’s a good idea to be a little non-traditional and buy your pie-crusts from the store, as this is the most time consuming part of pie making.  Rollout pie-crusts can be purchased at any grocery store, and will work just as well as home-made pie crusts.

Roll out your bottom crust so that it is larger than the pie pan, and then gently place it in the pan.  Roll out the top crust and set it aside for now.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S thanksgiving cookbook is all set to launch, and we cannot wait to see it.

To make the filling for your Thanksgiving apple pie, gather three-quarters of a cup of sugar, a quarter cup of brown sugar, three tablespoons of flour, a teaspoon of cinnamon, an eighth of a teaspoon of nutmeg, five or six peeled, cored and sliced apples, a quarter cup of light corn syrup and two tablespoons of butter (cut up).

In a mixing bowl, combine your sugar, flour and spices, and mix well.  Now, you need to put in your apples, corn syrup and the butter.  Mix all of this together well.  To make your Thanksgiving apple pie, you need to spoon the filling into your pie-crust, making sure that it fills the crust evenly.  Cover with the other crust and pinch the edges of the two crusts together.  Prick the top crust several times with a fork.  Bake the Thanksgiving pie for about forty-five minutes at three hundred and fifty degrees.

You’ve now made an apple pie for Thanksgiving dinner, and it took very little time or preparation!
