How to Make a Creative and Inexpensive Valentine Gift for Her

Valentine’s Day can bring with it a lot of pressure, and making sure you choose a nice gift that she will cherish might be difficult. When many guys start preparing for Valentine’s Day, they immediately think of the cliché type gift that women have been receiving since the holiday’s inception. There is something to be said for giving flowers, candy, and stuffed animals as a gift, but do not limit yourself to these items.

This year, find some unique and creative ways of expressing your affection. There are some great gift options that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to make.

One fun option is to visit your local grocers or bakery and buy her a chocolate Valentine’s themed desert, such as a frosted chocolate cake or a batch of freshly-baked cupcakes with little heart designs on them.  If you love to cook and bake you can even make these yourself for extra brownie points!

You don’t have to be an artist or a poet to express how you feel. A simple poem written by you and framed is a nice gift choice. Buy a small canvas and some paints and create a little painting of her favorite flowers. The painting is going to last far longer than a bouquet of roses will last, and it will be a gift she can treasure forever.

You could also take a photo of the two of you and frame it. You could also take several of your favorite photos and make a slideshow. Burn it to CD and wrap it. If you have some musical talent, you could even write a song. As long as it comes from your heart, she is sure to adore the gift.

You don’t have to break the bank to find a Valentine’s Day gift that she will love. When you use creative thinking, you can come up with some inexpensive and unique gift choices.
