Swedish Meatballs in the Crockpot is an Easy Meal You Will Love

Everyone is busy these days, and that means that too many meals end up being frozen dinners or fast food.  These options aren’t always the healthiest choice, and they don’t always taste very good.

Using a Crockpot, you can make some wonderful meals that take little time to prepare and taste wonderful.  A popular and simple recipe for a Crockpot is Swedish meatballs.

You will need:

1 pound package of frozen, precooked meatballs.  You can choose beef meatballs, but you can also find alternatives such as turkey in many grocery stores.  You also need to have 1 medium onion chopped up, 2 cloves of garlic minced, ½ cup of water, 2 cans of mushroom soup (10 ounces each), 1 cup of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of flour, and a ¼ teaspoon of pepper.

Steps:

Place the meatballs, onion, garlic, water, and soup into your Crockpot and cook it on low for 6 to 8 hours.

When the meatballs are almost done, take the sour cream, pepper, and flour, and mix it together.

Take your mixture, add it to the Crockpot and stir until blended.  Cook for an additional half hour so that everything thickens.

When it is thick enough, it is hot and ready to serve.  You can serve the Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, rice, or just about anything that you like.
